Lindab StructuralDesigner 2.0

New version of Lindab StructuralDesigner has been released.

This release includes updated and reworked UI, runtime envirnoment update and more.

Requirements:

Use with EC3Library 2.3 or newer. We do not recommend nor support using this version of StructuralDesigner with older versions of EC3Library.

Known issues:

This version does not allow loading job files from earlier version.

StructuralDesigner component EC3Library version 2.5 has been released

EC3Library contains all profile data used in StructuralDesigner and the new 2.5 version includes the following updates

- KSK & FSK60 from Lindab Profile AB is now FSK.

- KR from Lindab Profile AB is now FR.

- Removal of products from no longer active production units within the Lindab Group.

- Removal of Lindab Profile AB products on no longer supported markets and countries.

- Calculations for Lindab Profile AB C, U and Z profiles have been updated for all affected countries.

- All calculation data for Denmark have been updated due to updates to material factors.

- Removal of no longer available profiles from Lindab Profile AB.

Important notice & known issues

- With the removal of no longer active profiles, any older calculations using these profiles will face issues if loaded again with EC3Library 2.5 installed.

This issue applies to any old calculations using no longer available profiles, so not a new issue.

- When updating or installing StructuralDesigner, the installation may fail to validate and install EC3Library 2.5. In such case,

download installation of EC3Library 2.5 and install separately.

StructuralDesigner component EC3Library version 2.4 has been released

EC3Library contains all profile data used in StructuralDesigner and the new 2.4 version includes the following updates

- New LHP130 thickness 0.7 for Sweden and Norway.

- New LTP130 in thicknesses 0.73 and 1.0 for Sweden and Norway.

- Reactivated LTP85 for Hungary.

- Deactivated LTP150 & LHP150 from Lindab Hungary for all affected markets.

- Deactivated LTP115 & LHP115 from Lindab Profile for all affected markets.

Important notice & known issues

- With the deactivation of LTP115/LHP115 and LTP150/LHP150, any older calculations using these profiles will face issues if loaded again with EC3Library 2.4 installed.

This issue applies to any old calculations using no longer available profiles, so not a new issue.

- When updating or installing StructuralDesigner, the installation may fail to validate and install EC3Library 2.4. In such case,

download installation of EC3Library 2.4 and install separately.

Lindab RevitTools 2023.0 has been released

RevitTools are now available for Autodesk Revit 2023.

Lindab StructuralDesigner 1.6.0

New version of Lindab StructuralDesigner has been released.

This release includes updated UI, support for C , Sigma and Sigma profiles from Hungary, fire calculation (FLS function) for purlins.

Requirements:

Use with new EC3Library 2.3 to ensure new and extended profiles from Lindab Hungary can be used as well as support for fire calculations.

We do not recommend nor support using this version of StructuralDesginer with older versions of EC3Library.

Updated installation file for StructuralDesigner

Due to new version of EC3Library, there is a new installation file for StructuralDesigner 1.51. If you experience issues with installing or updating, make sure to use this latest file.

As of June 11th 2020, the old LicenseManager have been closed down and will not work any longer.

To continue to use our licensed software, you need to upgrade to the latest version of our LicenseManager. Options to do this are:

• Download and install any licensed software as these includes the latest version of the LicenseManager.
• Use LindabLicenseManager update in the Lindab section of the Windows menu.

AutoCADLibrary content available as ZIP file

We have added the AutoCADLibrary content as a ZIP file, as alternative to the installation file only working in Microsoft Windows. To download the ZIP file, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Information Gateway
2. Navigate to the software page from the menu
3. Navigate to the AutoCADLibrary software page
4. Expand the 1.0 version panel and you will find the ZIP file in the Files section
5. Click the download button to download the ZIP file
